Burnside

Burnside is one of the largest high schools in New Zealand, with a long and rich history. Its growth over time has resulted in an outdated brand, with a confusing mix of visual styles. They came to us to capture their story and create a fresh brand, which honours their past, present and future.

Drawing from a series of workshops with a variety of school stakeholders who were able to provide clarity on the unique strengths of the school, we refocused the narrative and developed a brand and design system that was not only deeply rich in meaning, but also clean, clear and simple to use.
